With IPL on an all-time high in 2019, social media was the best place (apart from the field) for teams to connect and interact with their loyal audiences.
So how could we add a fun spin to this?
In tandem with Madras Global who provided the digital content, we managed to take RCB's social media presence from mid-table mediocrity to second place, just behind Chennai Super Kings. RCB Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter were amongst the fastest growing sports accounts during the IPL season, thanks to the quirky tweets and content curated by us.
We played a pivotal role at the launch event of the RCB app, which was capped off with a performance by our artist Brodha V, who was also the ambassador for the RCB Underground property in 2019. We also scouted and signed Navaneeth Krishna as the host & presenter of 12th Man TV, a role he still successfully fulfils to this day.
We were key in implementing the RCB Dogout, a first of its kind pet-friendly section in the Chinnaswamy Stadium, and helped launch lifestyle properties such as RCB Bold: a fitness programme, as well as RCB Underground, a music initiative for the franchise.
