India's music landscape was massively influenced by the West in the early 2000's, but the exposure and access to acclaimed live acts was minimal and restricted.
So how could this gap be bridged between Indian audiences and Rock/Metal legends?
Summerstorm made it possible in as early as 2010.
Summerstorm saw Lamb of God take stage after popular local acts like Bhoomi, Boomarang, and Extinct Reflections. Having cemented a reputation of becoming one of India's top music festivals in its first edition itself, the second edition saw everyone's favourite prog/death metal outfit Opeth take the stage along with Suidakra from Germany, and Nothnegal from Maldives, and local boys Theorized & Eccentric Pendulum.
Rest assured no one went home without their necks intact that night. Ever since, Overture has been working on delivering another edition that lives up to the name, and it is safe to say that a Summerstorm is brewing.
